Entourage rules in IMAP duplicating emails

I've recently started using IMAP on Entourage and have duplicated my POP rule
to IMAP however they are operating very strangely

I have a rule setup to filter incoming mail by category to move to a folde
fo
that category. The folder when setup in IMAP will not show new mail in th
folder unless I actually click on the folder which renders this rule useless

have Live Sync enabled but this doesn't seem to make a difference

I then edited the rule so that it would move to a folder in my POP account an
that does show correctly when there is new mail however the rule seems to als
act when I click on Sent & Deleted items in my IMAP folder so if I delet
a
email from the POP folder it then gets reallocated to the folder if I check m
Sent & Deleted items folder on IMAP

Rule setup: - set on if any criteria are me
Folder is Inbox (IMAP
Catergory is Supplie
Category is Clien
Category is Membe

Move to Supplier on PO

Any ideas on how to overcome the Sent & Deleted items loop?
