I ran into a narration problem with PPT (Subject) that brought down PPT.
I purchased 2007 in 3/2010, but have no idea if there have been updates
made, or are even available. How would I find out? I would think there
would be an MS page that gives this info.

The Control Panel Install (Programs and Features) gives me the version,
but no specifics on updates or time of updates.

If you click the Windows "Start" button:
At the top of "All Programs" should be a "Microsoft Update" or "Windows Update" item.
Choosing one of those takes you to the Microsoft update website - updates take awhile.
Note: There is an option available to automatically update Windows and Office (monthly).

I tried that, but found nothing waiting on ppt. However, I pressed View
Updates, and got a long list of updates. It's not easy to search, so I
sorted by names. I see quite a number for 2007 office. Two related to
ppt from early 2010. Both are related to security.

Aside from understanding what is the latest update, my problem related
to the crash of ppt during a narration remains unsolved. Any idea on how
to get it resolved? Maybe I can try finding a corresponding problem on
Google.

Well, I do have MS's support #. Perhaps a call might lead somewhere.
