Hello,

How on earth am I able to link a bookmark on a Word document from html-page?
As I have searched this couple of hours I've managed to find out that it was
possible to link to a bookmark with Word 2002, but the feature has dropped
with 2007 -version.

All I need is that this kind of link:
path_to_file/filename.docx#bookmark_name would open filename.docx and scroll
to the bookmark_name -bookmark on the document. At this point it only opens
the document from page 1.

Is there going to be a fix for it, or is there some other workaround with
this problem? Saving the documents in HTML-format is out of the question as
well as the registry hacks - there are hundreds of documents and computers
involved from Sharepoint-site.

Has anyone figured this one out? I've searched the internet high and low trying to find out how to link an HTML web page link to a bookmark (anchor) within a Word document. Right now, my HTML link will open the Word document, but it won't go to the page with the bookmark (anchor) assigned to it. Supposedly you just need to add the bookmark name (#example) to the end of the file path (http://example.doc#example). If only it would work! There's got to be some way around this? Thanks for any help on this.

Have you figured out how to use a newsgroup? Multiple posting to a reply
from 2009?

Why not ask in a Word group?
