My cursor has shrunk and is now only half the size it usually is while
accessing Microsoft Word. The font size is the same as it has always been,
but the cursor is only half of the font size. There is no functional
difference but this is extremely annoying to me as I do alot of word
processing during the day

I also had this happen today (Tuesday April 1). Was there a keyboard
combination I inadvertently used?? Is this a MS Word April Fool joke?? I
changed nothing and find the tiny cursor totally distracting. Cannot find
help in Help except for Insertion Point..which remained the same as usual.
Please help. Thank you.

Hi Annie,

If you change the zoom setting to 500% then change back does the cursor size reset?

I had the same problem today - functionally, Word still works, but trying to find a miniscule cursor in a lengthy document is like trying to locate . . whatever.

I followed the recommendation of zooming in to 500% and then zooming back out to 110% (my normal working size) AND IT WORKED!!

Thanks, Bob - your advice was spot on!
