If you purchased a DVD, the product key is on a label attached to the DVD
case.

If you purchased a download, the product key is in the email that contains
the link to the installer. There's probably another copy of it on your
invoice.

In any case, don't lose that product key! You'll need it if you ever need to
reinstall the software.

There is a program called BelArc Advisor. You can download and instal
it to learn more about your computer than you ever need to know. One o
the items it lists is the current installed product keys.

Just got MS Office 2007 and I loved it. Did a huge Windows Clean up on my
laptop. I had 307 registry keys, I figured I didn''t need them. I deleted ALL
of them to help my computer run faster.

I found the product key on the bottom of my laptop. I have had this laptop for over 3 years and every time I type the # in it says it is invalid. I am now determined to be able to use Microsoft Word. What is the problem?

The problem is that the key on the bottom of your laptop belongs to the laptop. For
Word you will need the Office key which is on the case that the cd\dvd version of
Office came with.

Besides you are answering to an almost 2 year old post
