Word 2007 Find/Replace Function Not Working

I've used the find/replace function in past versions of Word, but when I
tried to use it in the newer version it does absolutely nothing, although it
said it replaced a number of items. Some trick I'm missing here? Thanks.

In this situation I recommend to use-'how to repair word 2007 file'
(http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/word_recovery.html).Program helped me
very good and has free status as far as I know.Besides that application
can also work with .doc, .docx, .dot and .dotx files and with any
version of Microsoft Word text editor.
