Hi
using 2010
Each time I click on word to start, it goes through a 'configuration
process' almost as it it was starting for the first time
I must be about 20/30 seconds before it is ready to use
Clicking on a word doc it just opens
Anyone know what's-up & how to fix please

Have you got any other versions of Office? This is typical if you are
using Office 2003, Office 2007 and/or Office 2010 all from the same machine.

If this is so then you need to configure your registry key using this DOC:

Hope this solves the problem.

Good luck.
