Doesn't anyone know how to do their own work anymore? Asking for a template for a TV commercial script is like asking, "Does anyone know how Budweiser writes their award winning commercials?"

Go to a PR class or an advertising class to get some background and then realize, there IS NO TEMPLATE for a successful commercial.

After furious head scratching, office TV script? asked:

I'd almost be willing to bet there's no template for an unsuccessful one
either. ;-)

I think what *ruell chappell* wants is not a template for good (or bad
TV commercial scripts, but one for the document itself, like there ar
some for letters, CVs, etc.

I found this page that maybe can help you:

http://www.cybercollege.com/commerc.htm

Following that sample and using a word processor, like MS Word, you ca
create a table starting with two columns and two rows and write *Video
in the left column and *Audio* in the right column, both in the firs
row.

Then you can add as many rows as you need for the entire script.

If you need or want, put a header before the table, for identifyin
purposes (client, product, etc.)

Save it as a template for your word processor, so you can call it fro
the *File > New* menu whenever you need.

BTW, that's the template I myself use every day. Check the image.

Look on any commercial web site such as ABC, NBC, CNN and others. There usually
is a 30 second spot. At least it will give you some ideas. ESPN would be
another.

I'd just like to apologize for the level of douchebagness in these responses. This is what ruins the experience of working in the tv and film industry and why I choose to work for myself. With that said, with a good google search you should be able to find what you are looking for. Just try a number of different word search combinations.
